Vote Early - A Midterm Is Won by the People Who Show Up
A midterm is decided by the people who show up. If Republican voters in Bandera County sit this one out, a smaller electorate decides the House, the Senate, and the local races. If a polling place, a registration snag, or a neighborhood concern needs a Republican ear, that chair has both the duty and a vote. You do not start in Austin.
Axing the Property Tax: How Plank 79 Protects Bandera Homeowners
Plank 79 of the 2026 Republican Party of Texas platform, “Ax the Property Tax,” calls for a different finish line: a net-tax-cut transition, no new income tax, and no property tax on private homesteads, fee-simple land, or land-patented land. Plank 80 is the stairway. Ownership is the point.
